Gretchen is an associate editor of MicroLit, an online literary journal, and a published author of several essays and reviews. Her first book, Text Me When You Land - Stories of Travel, Loss, and Healing, a collection of 24 essays, will be published by Apprentice House Press in Spring 2027. 

 

She is a lifelong educator and has counseled high school, college, and adult students on navigating their paths to achieve their individual, educational, and career goals. When she is not writing or reading, she loves Raqs Sharqi dancing, traveling, Middle Eastern food, and any beach. 

 

Gretchen is originally from Bridgeport, Connecticut, a city that she will always love, and has lived in the Boston area for many years.
